Commodities or contractual services available only from a single source may be exempted from competitive-solicitation requirements, as stated in DOE Admin Rule 6A-1.012(12)(d) and  Florida Statutes, 287.057(3)(c).

This particular product may be classified as a “Single Source” by the district (only ONE source in which to purchase).
