GET A JUMP START ON COLLEGE.

Dual enrollment is  an acceleration opportunity for student interested in earning college credits while enrolled in high school. Dual enrollment can help offset college expenses for families and shorten the time it takes to earn a degree.

High school and college credit

Dual enrollment students receive both high school and college credit upon successful completion of a dual enrollment course.

Eligibility guidelines

Students must:

  •      Have a cumulative (unweighted) 3.00 GPA for academic courses or a cumulative (unweighted) 2.00 GPA for career technical courses
  •      Must achieve a college ready score on the Postsecondary Educational Readiness Test (PERT) (not more than two years old) SAT or ACT
  •      Enroll in approved dual enrollment courses. (college prep [remedial], physical education or applied music courses do not qualify)
