March 10, 2021 - At their March 9th meeting, the Hernando School Board approved the plan for all Hernando high schools to move forward with holding in-person commencement ceremonies, proms and Grad Bash events. Continuing the effort to ensure commencements are safe, each high school will move graduation ceremonies to outside venues and reduce the number of people in attendance. Based on the results from a February survey of high school seniors, students chose the option of receiving more tickets for guests to attend a smaller ceremony with half of the graduating class. Each of the 5 high schools will host 2 ceremonies. The schedule for all commencements is below.
