Culinary (7-8)
The 7th grade course is a culinary starting point for students to explore pathways and occupations related to the culinary industry and serves as a place for students to learn in a hands-on setting. Students in the 7th grade class will work towards a U-Certify Multimedia certification through presentation and graphics software. Through research and exploration, students will learn about basic food preparation, storage, safety, and service within the world of culinary arts. Students in the 8th grade class will be given the opportunity to work towards a Serv Safe Manager certification, learning about the most current was in the restaurant industry to run a safe and clean kitchen.
