The first meeting of the Hernando County School District Council of Councils was held Monday, February 27, 2012. The following SAC Chairpersons attended the meeting representing their school:

Bryan A. Blavatt, Superintendent opened the meeting with a welcome and heartfelt thank you for attending. He then went to state the importance of the Council of Council. Eric Williams, Director of School Improvement, shared with the group the guiding principles of the Strategic Plan and the main purpose of current meeting. The group was assigned a rotation schedule to visit eight tables and speak with District staff. The information collected will be presented to the Strategic Planning Committee in March. The eight tables represented the following departments:
